Efficiency Improvement of Small Induction Motors
Vilím, Martin ; Veselka, František (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
In this bachelor´s thesis I discuss about asynchronous engines in general, describe their construction and principle of operation, using. It also includes measurements of a specific motor and design engine. The first part deals with theprinciple of the engine options including the fundamental control over speed and torque. The second part deals with the measurement of the size of the searchengine and losses. The last part provides a proposal for a new induction motor.
Short Circuit Currents in the Sokolnice 400 kV Switching Station with Direct 400/110 kV Transformation Applied
Vojtěch, Pavel ; Špaček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
The destination of this Bachelor´s Thesis is to explore short circuit currents for voltage level 400 kV in the switching station Sokolnice before year 1995 and after this year, when came to installation of the convertor T402 and to voltage direct 400/110 kV transformation applied. The Thesis is detecting at relation as for three-phase short circuit do for single-phase short circuits, for 400/220/110 kV primary transformation variation in voltage and for variation 400/110 kV, the change which came after connection of the convertor T402. In base of this calculation will be explored the short circuit resistance rating switching station in agreement with parameters ordered by the comp. Inc. ČEZ Prague.
Three-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulation algorithms
Rudolf, Ladislav ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Klíma, Bohumil (advisor)
The main theme of this bachelors‘s thesis is to introduce readers into the algorithm of generating three-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulation. Main attention is concentrating to methods of generating Pulse width modulation method such as comparate PWM modulation technique and space modulation of voltage vector SVM. The functional units of algorithms are analysed and described from the basics. In addition, this project describes the basic analog solutions and even the implementation of the PWM modulator into signal processors DSP56F800.
Converters controling
Nevoral, Jiří ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor´s project is study of DSP microprocessor problems to converters controlling with asynchronous motors and execution of a project. Study includes information on quality single type processor, benefits and disadvantage whole solving. Of purpose is DSP converters control with DMC1500.
Design of high-speed induction motor
Svoreň, Jan ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This work deal with troubleshooting of problem parts of high-speed induction machines. Introduction is about conception of induction machines with reference to construction specialities due to high rpm and because machines are fed by inverter. Next part is focused to design problems. A classical induction machine was measured to determination change of various losses in classic and high-speed induction machines. The computation of laboratory sample high-speed motor was specified for calculation of effective resistance and leakage reactance of solid-steel rotor with copper layer. The results of numerical calculation were validated by using finite elements method and machine design was adjusted for improving operation characteristic.

Measurement of three-phase EMC filters
Tomašák, Lukáš ; Soldán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this semestral project was to propose the measuring system for measuring three-phase EMI filters in symmetrical, asymmetrical and non-symmetrical mode according to information from supplier of the filters. The major part of this project was focused on measuring the frequency dependence of the insertion loss of three-phase EMI filters in impedance systems 50?/50?, 0,1?/100 ? and 100?/0,1?. It was determined that results approximately agree with specifications in datasheets.
